The WSPID confederation of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (PID) societies aspires to create a global network of national and international PID societies for the exchange of information and knowledge. This may foster collaborations among PID specialists and may contribute to the global improvement in prophylaxis and treatment of infectious diseases of children.
