Introduction
EASL is pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for consideration for Poster Presentation at the upcoming Joint EASL-AASLD Monothematic Conference on Nuclear Receptors and Liver Disease, Vienna, Austria, February 27- March 1, 2009
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is December 8, 2008. Abstracts can be submitted through the Conference Website only. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
All accepted abstracts will be in POSTER format. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.
Please note that abstract content may be edited at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.

Rules for submission to the Joint EASL-AASLD Monothematic Conference on Nuclear Receptors and Liver Disease
The Conference Program and Abstract Book will include abstracts of invited lectures and of accepted poster presentations.
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
- Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by December 22, 2008 will be scheduled for presentation and included in the Program and Abstract Book.
- The Organizing Committee will review abstracts and information regarding acceptance, and scheduling will be sent to the corresponding author.
Guidelines for Submission
Before you begin, please prepare the following information:
- Presenting author's contact details; include full mailing address, office hours phone number and email address.
- Author or authors' names: initial(s) of first name(s), family name
- Affiliation details of all authors: department; institution / hospital; city; state (if relevant); country
- Abstract title (limited to 25 words) in UPPER CASE
- Figures, tables or graphs which you wish to include in the abstract should be image files.The maximum file size of each is 500 KB. The maximum pixel size of each is 600(w) x 800(h) and resolution up to 150dpi. You may upload images in jpg format only.
- Abstract text – limited to 350 words (fewer if a figure is included in the abstract)
We recommend using word-processing software (for example Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words. Typing your text directly into the field is not recommended.
