English is the official language of the congress.

Clothing

During the entire meeting, attire will be informal.

Climate

The weather in Athens in October is generally chilly to mild. The average temperature is 15°- 22°C. Rain may be expected.

Currency

The Euro is the national currency of Greece. No other currency is accepted. Traveler's Checks are accepted in most places. Almost every shop hotel and restaurant accepts credit cards, but many shops in small towns don’t. The signs are usually posted on the door of each store.

Travel Information

Athens International Airport is the "Elefthérios Venizélos". You can access Athens International Airport (AIA) from the centre of Athens or the Attica ports via public transport that operates on a 24-hour basis, ensuring efficient transportation to key areas of the Attica basin and tourist attractions.
Four bus routes connect directly the Athens greater area and Piraeus with the airport. All buses disembark passengers at the Departures Level and depart from the Arrivals Level, between Exits 4 and 5. For further information, please visit the OASA website.
The Hotel is located 30 KM from the Athens International Airport.
Prices of taxi rides from the Airport to the city center vary between 35€-50€.


CME Credits

As in our previous congresses, an application will be made to the (EACCME) European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education Institution of The European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Further details will be made available on the congress website.

Visas

Many visitors to Greece will not need to obtain a visa for visits to Greece of up to 90 days. This includes citizens of all other European Union countries, Canada, Australia, Japan, and the United States. Please consult the Greek Embassy or Consulate nearest to you for specific details relating to visas.

Letter of Invitation

Participants requiring a formal letter of invitation, to enable them to make their arrangements, should contact the Secretariat. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa and does not imply a commitment from the congress organisers to provide any financial support or scheduling of presentations.

Liability

The Congress Secretariat and organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
