Venue
The Annual London Imperial Spine Course 2012 will be held in London at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The College is centrally located at Lincoln's Inn Fields within easy walking distance of Holborn (Piccadilly and Central lines) and Temple (District and Circle Lines) underground stations. It is a short taxi or underground journey from most major rail stations. Two NCP car parks are situated nearby.

Certificate of Attendance
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided for all registered delegates.
The Course has been accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for up to 13 CPD points.

Insurance
The registration fees do not include the insurance of participants against personal accidents, sickness, cancellations by any party, theft, loss or damage to personal possessions. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance to cover travel, accommodation, cancellation and personal effects.

Welcome Reception

The welcome reception will take place at the Hunterian Museum (located within the Royal College of Surgeons of England) on Wednesday, 7 March 2012.
Attendance to the Welcome Reception is complimentary for all pre-registered delegates.
Course Dinner
Thursday, 8 March 2012
The Course Dinner will be held on Thursday 8 March 2012 at The Chancery (9 Cursitor Street, EC4A 1LL, London).
Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance at the cost of £70 per person and are subject to availability.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the venue and not immediately outside the main entrance.

By Plane
From London Heathrow Airport: Heathrow Express train from Heathrow Airport to Paddington Station (journey time: approximately 15 min, frequency of trains: every 15 minutes). Underground District or Circle line from Paddington to Notting Hill plus Central line from Notting Hill to Holborn.
Alternatively, underground from Heathrow to Holborn (Piccadilly line) which will take approximately 1 hour.
From London Gatwick Airport: Gatwick Express from Gatwick Airport to Victoria Station (journey time: 30 min, frequency of trains: every 15 to 30 minutes, plus slower stopping service). Underground Victoria line from Victoria Station to Oxford Circus and Central Line from Oxford Circus to Holborn.
From London Stansted Airport: Stansted Express from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street Station (journey time: 45 min). Underground Central line from Liverpool Station to Holborn Station.
From London City Airport: 30/40 minutes by car.
By Underground
The nearest Tube station is Holborn (Piccadilly and Central Lines). It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station to the museum.
Temple (District and Circle Lines) and Charing Cross stations (Northern and Bakerloo Lines) are a 10-20 minute walk or short taxi ride away.

By Rail
The nearest stations are Kings Cross St. Pancras, Euston, Waterloo and Charing Cross. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk from each to the College or 10-15 minutes by underground.
Parking
On street parking is available outside the College on Lincoln's Inn Fields. The pay and display charges are in operation from Monday to Saturday, 8.30am - 6.30pm. The current charge in the Westminster bays is £4 per hour with a maximum stay of 2 hours.
Visitors should be aware that both Westminster and Camden councils operate parking bays around the Fields. Please check the signs carefully when you park to determine which borough you are parked in and ensure you purchase a ticket from the correct pay and display machine.
The nearest multi-storey car parks are in Drury Lane and Bloomsbury Square.
Blue Badge holders can park in marked bays for up to 4 hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.30am, and without time limit outside these hours. As a Blue Badge holder you are also entitled to park at a meter/pay-and-display bay for an extra hour once the paid time has expired.

The College has a dedicated parking space for use by disabled visitors. Please book this space in advance by calling reception on 020 7869 6400.
