CME ACCREDITATION

The 12th World Congress on Cancers of the Skin is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.

The 12th World Congress on Cancers of the Skin is designated for a maximum of (or up to) 17 hours of European external CME credits. Each Medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. To view the CME certificate please click here.

UEMS/EACCME CME credit recognition

The American Medical Association (AMA) has an agreement of mutual recognition of continuing medical education (CME) credit with the European Union of Medical Specialties (UEMS). Under the terms of this agreement, the AMA will convert CME credit certified by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), the accrediting arm of the UEMS, to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians (MDs, DOs or equivalent international degree) may have their EACCME credit converted to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ by applying to the AMA.

Instructions for converting EACCME Credit to AMA PRA
Category 1 Credit™

To apply for conversion of EACCME credit to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, download the Application for EACCME Credit Conversion (PDF, 22KB), and (1) submit the completed application by fax or mail, (2) along with a copy of the EACCME credit certificate and (3) processing fee. A certificate of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be mailed within 4 weeks.
