Official check-in time for the hotels is 15:00 hours and check out is required by 12:00 noon.
The Meeting organizer may not be held responsible for any changes in published public transportation travel times and/or routes.
We strongly advise all participants to reserve their hotel accommodation as soon as possible.
Reservations will only be confirmed if credit card details are fully supplied; alternatively please forward a deposit of one night per room.
Each participant will receive an individual confirmation, indicating the name and address of their hotel. The booking will be final upon receipt of the corresponding deposit.
If your hotel reservation is being made by a sponsoring company, the participant will receive the corresponding hotel confirmation directly from the sponsoring company.

Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration and accommodation fees.
Please ensure the name of the congress and the participant are stated on the bank transfer.
Please note that 3 weeks prior to arrival in Barcelona, your credit card will be automatically charged for the balance of your hotel accommodation.
Participants who paid their deposit by bank transfer are required to send the balance of the accommodation charge to MDPD 2010 Secretariat at Kenes International, 3 weeks before arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All changes or cancellations have to be made in writing to Kenes International.
Please do not contact the hotel directly.
- Cancellation/changes received up to 15 days prior to arrival– full refund less 35€ handling fee
- Cancellation/changes received 14-10 days prior to arrival – 1 night cancellation charge
- Cancellation/changes received less than 10 days prior to arrival – no refund
In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release the reservation and all payments will be non-refundable.
Late arrival /early departure fee - If you arrive later or leave earlier than on the dates of your confirmed booking, the total accommodation amount will be charged and no refunds will be made.

Kenes International and their agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his /her luggage or any other property for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services provided. Personal travel and health insurance is recommended.
