OPENING CEREMONY
The MASCC/ISOO 2011 International Sympsoium Opening Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 23 at 13:00 in Hall A at the Symposium Venue.
The Welcome Reception will be held in the Exhibition Area & Poster Area on Thursday, May 23 at 19:00

The MASCC General Assembly will take place on Thursday, May 23 at 12:00 in Hall A at the Symposium Venue.
CME Accreditation
MASCC/ISOO 2011 has been accredited for a maximum of 13 hours of European external CME Credits.

Certificates of Attendance will be available for participants to collect at the pre-paid registration stations starting 14:30 on Friday, June 24 until the end of sessions on Saturday, June 25. Participants are requested to scan their badge at the machine and the certificate will automatically be printed with the participant's name.
NAME BADGE FOR PRE-PAID PARTICIPANTS
If you pre-paid your registration fees for the Symposium, please use the self-service machines located in the pre-paid registration area for a quick and efficient registration, by scanning the barcode on the confirmation letter that has been sent to you. Please print the document and bring it with you to the Symposium. The barcode confirmation letter will not be sent to you if you are registered as part of a group and your registration material will be collected by your group representative. Please note if you do not have your confirmation letter when arriving at the Symposium, do not worry, you will still be able to use the self-service machines by typing your full name into the machine. Hostesses will be at the registration area to assist you.
Airport Information & Travel to Athens
Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) is served by many direct flights from most destinations. It is 36km from the airport to the Symposium venue and private taxis are available 24 hours a day, as well as a regular train service. Approximate cost is €40 per taxi to the city centre.
GETTING TO THE SYMPOSIUM VENUE
You can access the InterContinental by Subway (SYNGROU / FIX subway station); by train (Neos Kosmos Tramway Station). These means of transport are just a few minutes' walk from the Hotel.
Tickets for public transportation can be purchased from ticket machines and at ticket counters at subway station.

The Euro (€) is the official currency of Greece.
Visas
Participants are requested to consult the Greek Embassy or Consulate in their home country or via a travel agency for specific details relating to visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.
Liability & Insurance
The Symposium Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
