Preparation of Posters
- Please prepare your poster on one sheet of Bristol board or laminated paper.
Alternatively presenters may display their material on several smaller sheets.
- The dimensions of the poster board are: 1m wide x 2.30m long (39.5 x 90.5 inches). It is suggested that your poster be 90 cm wide x 1.2m long (35.5 inches wide x 47 inches long). Any longer, and it becomes difficult to see.
- Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
- The text, illustrations, etc. should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
- Double sided tape and technical equipment will be available for the mounting of posters. Staff will also be in the poster area to assist you.
- Please refer to the Final Programme book that you will receive upon arrival at the Conference for the poster board number assigned to you. Please use the board with the same number.

Should you wish, A4 envelopes are available to place reprints of your poster or relevant material. These are available upon request from on-site staff.

e-Poster Presentations
Amongst hundreds of accepted posters at this year’s congress, approximately 250 - have been chosen to be presented electronically at the congress – as E-Posters.
This new presentation tool will be introduced during the MASCC/ISOO 2011 Symposium in Athens for the first time and will highlight the outstanding posters.
Those abstracts selected for e-Poster Presentations will be presented as an electronic presentation.
E-Posters will be presented during coffee & Lunch breaks and the evening receptions in the Poster Area on Thursday and Friday.
PDF versions of the selected posters will be transformed into an online friendly format called e-Poster.
These E-Posters will be available online to members and participants during the Congress and if permitted by the authors, after the Congress as well.
Viewers will be able to easily find and browse e-Posters, comment on e-Posters, and ask questions directly to the presenters (when allowed) and even download the posters in PDF format when permitted by the presenter.
Please create a PDF of your poster and bring a "back-up" copy of your presentation on disk or disk-on-key to the meeting.
If your abstract has been selected for e-Poster presentation, our e-Poster team will contact you shortly with further details.
