It gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Symposium on Supportive Care in Cancer, taking place in New York City on June 28-30, 2012.
Following the success of The MASCC/ISOO 2011 International Symposium on Supportive Care in Athens, Greece, we have created a scientific program that focuses on new developments and challenges, including topics of global interest and regional development.
Supportive care enables excellent cancer care and is itself supported by excellent science as we strive to enhance the lives of people on the cancer journey, at whatever stage they may find themselves.
The value of supportive care in cancer is increasingly being recognized, and the annual International Symposium is a wonderful place to learn, teach, communicate, network and share in the process of enhancing knowledge of supportive care and improving cancer care outcomes.
The Symposium will include discussion of methods to minimize cancer-induced side effects, the symptoms and complications of cancer treatment, and psychosocial issues facing cancer patients and their families.
