GETTING TO THE SYMPOSIUM VENUE
You can access the Hilton New York by taxi or metro. The Symposium Venue is located on Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave.) between West 53rd and West 54th Streets; 53rd street is west bound and 54th street is east bound. LaGuardia Airport is 8 miles, JFK Airport is 17 miles, Newark Airport is 15 miles away. Grand Central station is 15 minutes across town, Penn Station is 15 minutes downtown and Port Authority is 10 minutes downtown.

NAME BADGE FOR PRE-PAID PARTICIPANTS
If you pre-paid your registration fees for the Symposium, please use the self-service machines located in the pre-paid registration area for a quick and efficient registration, by scanning the barcode on the confirmation letter was sent to you. Please print the document and bring it with you to the Symposium. The barcode confirmation letter will not be sent to you if you are registered as part of a group and your registration material will be collected by your group representative.
Please note if you do not have your confirmation letter when arriving at the Symposium, do not worry, you will still be able to use the self-service machines by typing your full name into the machine. Hostesses will be at the registration area to assist you.
OPENING CEREMONY
The Symposium Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 28, at 13:25 in Hall A at the Symposium Venue.
MASCC GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The MASCC General Assembly will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 12:30 in Hall A at the Symposium Venue. All Members are welcome to attend the General Assembly.
WELCOME RECEPTION
A Welcome Reception will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 19:30-20:30, in the Poster Area of the Symposium Venue. All Symposium participants are welcome to attend the Welcome Reception.
POSTER VIEWING EVENING RECEPTION
A Poster Viewing Evening Reception will be held on Friday, June 29 from 19:00 onwards in the Poster Area of the Symposium Venue. All Symposium participants are welcome to attend the Evening Reception

CME
The MASCC/ISOO 2012 is currently being accredited for 15 Continuing Medical Education (CME) and CNE Credits.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
Certificates of Attendance will be available at the pre-paid registration stations from Friday, June 29th at 14:30 until the end of sessions on Saturday, June 30th. Participants are requested to scan their name badge
at the machine and the certificate will automatically be printed with the participant’s name.
ATTENDANCE TRACKING REPORT
Self scanning devices are placed in the registration area. You may approach the scanners and self-scan your badge in order to record your attendance. Only participants who have recorded their attendance will receive a report tracking their daily attendance time-frame at the Symposium from the Secretariat after the Symposium.
Scanning your badge on a daily basis upon arrival and departure is necessary in order to receive a full and detailed report of your attendance. Please make sure your email address is updated when scanning your badge. If you wish to update your email address please approach the Registration Desk.
CERTIFICATES OF CME AND CE CREDIT
Certificates for participation in CME & CE certified sessions will be issued directly from the accredited provider, Postgraduate Institute for Medicine. In order to receive credit you must complete an online evaluation form. You will be able to complete an evaluation form onsite, at the CME & CE Station at the Registration Area, or alternatively fill in the online form that will be sent to your email up to 10 days after the meeting.
Participants must provide a valid mailing address upon completion of the form. Requests for credit will be mailed to participants approximately 4-6 weeks post conference. For further information, please contact the Registration Desk.
Clothing
During the entire Cancer Care Meeting, attire will be casual and informal.

Visas
Participants of MASCC/ISOO 2012 are requested to consult the USA Embassy or Consulate in their home country or via a travel agency for specific details relating to visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the MASCC/ISOO 2012 participant to obtain a visa if required.
Liability & Insurance
The MASCC/ISOO 2012 Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. MASCC/ISOO 2012 participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
OFFICIAL LETTERS OF INVITATION
Upon request, the MASCC/ISOO 2012 Congress Secretariat will send personal invitation letters to participants. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program.
