CME ACCREDITATION
The 2011 ICS Annual Scientific Meeting and associated Educational Courses and Workshops applied for Continuing Medical Education (CME) within the EU-ACME programme by the European Board of Urology as well as a number of National and US Specialist Associations and Boards of Health and have been accredited with CME.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE & ATTENDANCE TRACKING
Certificates of Attendance for the Annual Meeting will be available at the pre-paid registration area from 12:30 on Thursday, 1 September, 2011. Participants will need to scan the barcode on their name badges to have the certificate printed automatically with his/her name. Certificates of Attendance for workshops and courses are handed out at the end of the session in exchange for completed evaluation forms.
For certification purposes, an 'attendance tracking station' will be available in the registration area. Delegates will be able to scan their badge when they enter and exit the meeting venue, and will receive an attendance report via e-mail within two weeks after the meeting.

An informal ICS "Meet the Press" event will take place Wednesday, 31 August, 2011 at 10:35 in the Press Centre (Hall K).
Coffee & lunch breaks
During the pre-meeting educational programme (29-30 August), coffee and lunch will be served according to the breaks indicated in the programme. During the main Annual Meeting (31 August - 2 September), coffee and lunch will be served in the Exhibition Area according to the breaks indicated to the Programme.
TRAVEL
Glasgow International Airport, serving more than 100 destinations, is only 8 miles from the city centre. The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre is the UK’s largest integrated meeting venue and is located near the city centre. The SECC can easily be reached from the airport by taxi – about a 15 minute drive. From Glasgow center, the SECC is also easily accessible by train with the help of Scotrail, leaving around every 10 minutes from Glasgow Central Station.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
The Meeting Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

We recommend that all participants take out personal travel and health insurance for the trip.
VISA INFORMATION
Participants are requested to check with the UK consulate or diplomatic mission in their home country. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a Visa if required with no commitment from the organisers to provide any financial support.

The average temperature in Glasgow near the end of August ranges between 10° C - 18° C.

So it is recommended to plan for extra time to visit this beautiful city and its surroundings.
