The ICS-IUGA 2010 pre-meeting Workshops have been accredited by the European Board of Urology for:
3 hours of European CME credits (per workshop)
The EBU works according to the rules and quality standards of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
The accreditation is in compliance with EBU/UEMS regulations - 1 credit per hour, with a maximum of 6 credits per day. Both the EBU and the EACCME are the institutions of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net
All CME events accredited by the EBU have the EACCME endorsement.
The EBU/EACCME CME Credits are recognized by National Accreditation Authorities. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
All CME activities approved by the EBU/EACCME are valid for recognition by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.

Accreditation can then be obtained by filling in the delegate’s name and then sending in this certificate along with the scientific programme to their National Continuing Education Board. It is the responsibility of the delegate to provide the attendance certificate to the appropriate Education Board.
