As the official organizer of the Abdominal Obesity 2011 Annual Meeting, Kenes International is offering special reduced rates for various hotels in Buenos Aires as indicated below. Due to the popularity of the destination, we strongly recommend early booking of hotel accommodation.

• Kindly note that the accommodation fees will be charged in US$
• The above rates include breakfast, service charges and all taxes
• We strongly recommend that hotel accommodation is booked in advance. We will be happy to be of assistance in all matters concerning hotel reservations for the Congress. Kenes International will not be able to guarantee rooms after January 23, 2011.
• All rates are subject to change
• In the event of tax increasing, the resulting increase in hotel rates will be passed on to the client

How to book

In order to benefit from the special Congress rates, please use one of the following booking methods:

Hotel reservations will only be confirmed if credit card details are fully supplied or alternatively a deposit of one night accommodation is forwarded by bank transfer within 10 working days.

Each participant will receive an individual confirmation, indicating the name and address of the hotel. The booking will only be final upon receipt of the corresponding deposit.

For hotel reservation made by a sponsoring company, the participant will receive the hotel confirmation from the sponsoring company directly.

Payment

Payment of accommodation fees should be made in USD by one of the following methods:

• Credit Card: i.e. Visa, MasterCard or American Express

* Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration and accommodation fees.
* Please make sure the name of the congress and the participant are stated on the bank transfer

Please note that 3 weeks prior to arrival, your credit card will be automatically charged for the balance of your hotel accommodation. Participants who paid their deposit by bank transfer are required to send the balance of the accommodation charge to “ICAO 2011” Accommodation department - 21 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or changes should be received in writing to Kenes International (by fax or e-mail). Please do not contact the hotel directly. 

• Cancellations/changes received up to 15 days prior to arrival– full refund less $50 handling fee
• Cancellation/changes received 14-10 days prior to arrival – 1 night cancellation charge.
• Cancellation/changes received less than 10 days prior to arrival – no refund

In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release the reservation, and full payment will be non-refundable.
Late Arrival /Early Departure Fee - If you arrive later or leave earlier than on the dates of your confirmed booking, the total accommodation amount will be charged and no refunds will be made.

Important Notes - Kenes International and its agents and the Organizers shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any persons, or his/her luggage or any other property for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services provided. Personal travel and health insurance is recommended.
