About Salzburg
The city of Salzburg reflects 2000 years of history. The palaces, archbishops’ churches, squares and fountains, and most notably the Fortress, reflect the love of splendor of the once powerful archbishops who ruled the city. The landmark of the City of Salzburg is the Fortress Hohensalzburg. This Castle has towered majestically over the rooftops of the “Old Town” area of Salzburg for 900 years. A 30 minute walk will take you up there or alternatively you can use the funicular railway, which leaves every 10 minutes from the Festungsgasse.
GnRH 2011 Symposium
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I take pleasure in inviting you to the 10th International Symposium on GnRH – The hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis in cancer and reproduction, which will be held in Salzburg, Austria, February 6-8, 2011. This symposium will also celebrate 50 years of the clinical use of human gonadotrophins.
We will evaluate lessons learnt from the use of gonadotrophins, GnRH analogues and other peptides, and discuss future trends and changes ahead.
