Please ensure that FEMS2011 Accommodation and of the name of the participant are stated on the bank transfer.
Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the accommodation fees.
We strongly recommend that hotel accommodation is booked early and will be happy to be of assistance in all matters concerning hotel reservations for the Congress.
Each participant will receive an individual confirmation, indicating the name and address of the hotel. Hotel reservations will be confirmed only after receiving full payment by credit card or bank transfer within 2 working days from the day of booking.
If hotel reservation is made by a sponsoring company, the participant will receive the corresponding hotel confirmation directly from the sponsoring company.
Full prepayment is required for all hotel accommodations.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations or changes should be received in writing to Kenes International (by fax or e-mail). Please do not contact the hotel directly.
- Cancellations/changes received up to 15 days prior to arrival– Full refund
- Cancellation/changes received 14-10 days prior to arrival – 1 night cancellation charge
- Cancellation/changes received less than 10 days prior to arrival – Non refundable
In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release the reservation and full payment will be non-refundable.
Late arrival or early departure fees will be non-refundable less than 10 days prior to arrival

TRAVEL INFORMATION & FREE TRANSPORT PASSES FOR HOTEL GUESTS
Geneva Cointrin International Airport (GVA) is located just 5 km / 3 miles north-west of the city of Geneva and next to Les Avachets, Le Grand-Saconnex, Prévessin-Moens and Vernier. For more information you may visit their website: http://www.gva.ch
The Geneva International Airport offers you a free ticket into town, valid through the "Tout Geneva" zone of the Geneva Public Transport System/unireso. You can get your free ticket from the automatic distributor, located in the baggage claim area, just before going through customs. It is valid for 80 minutes and is available to arriving passengers only. Geneva’s train station called Cornavin is conveniently located in the heart of the city.
The bus number 5 links directly the airport, Geneva Palexpo and the city centre. You can find the bus timetable on the following link: http://www.tpg.ch/fr/index.php
In case of a check on the Geneva Public Transport System, passengers with a free ticket must also be able to produce an air carriage document (plane ticket or boarding pass) proving that they flew into Geneva on the same day.
All Congress participants staying at a hotel, youth hostel or camping in Geneva can benefit from the Geneva Transport Card, at no additional cost.
This personal and non-transferable pass is established upon the visitor’s check-in in to the hotel, youth hostel or camping of his (her) choice, enabling its holder use of the entire public transportation network without restriction (bus, train and boat), with validity for the entire duration of his (her) stay including the departure day.
