Lwoff Medal
The Lwoff Medal has been awarded to Dr. Miroslav Radman in recognition of his outstanding achievements in microbiology:
discovery of the SOS response in bacteria and of the strand-directed mismatch repair system in Escherichia coli.
Dr. Radman will give his award talk on Thursday 30 June, at 12h30, on "Molecular biology of survival and the robustness of bacterial cells and populations". |
