The 18th European Congress of Psychiatry of the European Psychiatric Association will take place at the International Congress Centre of Munich, Germany, from February 27 - March 2, 2010.
It will be our pleasure to welcome you to Munich, a city with a relationship of over 100 years with psychiatry, represented by some of the most remarkable researchers and psychiatrists such as Emil Kraepelin and Alois Alzheimer and still hosting a very active psychiatric research scene. Munich is a very appealing city, especially the old city centre and the surrounding scenery of lakes and mountains. The city is closely linked with art and culture.
EPA plans to offer you a high-quality, multidisciplinary scientific program that will provide a full review of the most important aspects of diagnosis and treatment in psychiatry and of the latest achievements in this field.
Under the motto "Improve the quality of psychiatric research and treatment in Europe", as a tribute to the EPA inner mission in Europe, Congress highlights will include presentations by outstanding European and international experts in Psychiatry.
The scientific program will be composed of plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, a three-day young psychiatrists' program and about 12 CME courses, and will be completed by educational symposia organised by leading pharmaceutical companies.
Clinicians and researchers of all generations are encouraged to become actively involved in the exchange of knowledge and experience by contributing to the scientific program of our Congress. Submit your proposals for symposia and workshops before May 12 2009, attend workshops, lectures and CME courses, propose oral presentations and exhibit posters and enjoy interacting with your colleagues from Europe and beyond its borders!
We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Munich in 2010.
