The 78th EAS Congress is putting special emphasis on the poster exhibition, with sessions explicitly dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the results displayed. It is our great aim and effort to accentuate and give more prominence to the issues and new ways of thinking condensed in the posters shown at the congress. We would like to give the scientists behind them a new and extended forum for discussing their ideas and profiting from the cutting-edge intellectual surrounding to be found at EAS congresses (please see the preliminary timetable for details).
The EAS would like to especially promote young scientists working in the field of atherosclerosis to present their findings and ideas to the renowned international participants and guests of the European Atherosclerosis Congress in Hamburg. In addition to the presentation of their results during the poster sessions we invite all young scientists to participate in the Young Scientist Poster Competition.
