Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the third cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, and a major health problem. Thus, the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), with the endorsement of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL), and the Latin-American for the Study of the Liver (ALEH), have decided to organize a Special Conference dedicated to this subject.
