The Hungarian Forint is the official national currency. All major credit cards are accepted.
Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport formerly known as Budapest Ferihegy International Airport, is the international airport serving the Hungarian capital city of Budapest, and the largest of the country's five international airports. The airport offers international connections primarily within Europe, but also to Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and North America. The Airport is located 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) east-southeast of the centre of Budapest.
The Airport is well accessible by car from any point of Budapest. The Airport can be reached in 20-60 minutes from the City by the „High-Speed Road”.
Budapest Airport is relatively well accessible also by Public Transportation means. Passengers are taken by a direct bus service from (and between) Terminals 1 and 2, called the Bus 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest metro terminal.
Passengers can easily reach Ferihegy railway station (Budapest Airport Terminal 1) from the Budapest Nyugati Railway Station. The trains ease the travelling from the city center to the airport within less than half an hour.
An application will be made to the EACCME® for CME accreditation of this event.
Most Europeans do not require an entry visa for Budapest. Please consult the Hungarian Embassy or Consulate nearest to you for specific details relating to visas.
