West of Santiago and also known as the "garden city" for its beautiful gardens, avenues filled with flowering trees and palms. Exciting and full of action is the gambling Casino and daytime activities center along Valparaiso Avenue with its many open-air cafés, restaurants and shopping malls. Valparaíso, Chile's principal port will also be visited, combined in its urban landscape the giant bulk of ships moored at the wharves with the narrowness of its main streets, turning an abrupt piece of coastline into one of the worlds most picturesque ports. since recently Valparaiso is the new seat of Congress. The tour will stop at a beach restaurant for luncheon on passengers account.
