Call for Abstracts

Deadline for submission of abstracts:  
Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Participants who would like to present an oral or poster presentation should submit an abstract for consideration by the Scientific Committee. The abstracts should be submitted in English no later than Wednesday, January 14, 2009. The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for presentation, with consideration given to the author’s preference for poster or oral presentation.

The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat, and of all communications thereafter.

Only the abstracts of registered participating authors will be included in the program and in the conference CD Rom of abstract.

The Conference abstracts will be published online as a supplement to the Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism published by the Nature Publishing Group (NPG).

Submission of Abstracts

  • Only abstracts submitted via the website of the Conference, www.kenes.com/brain  will be sent to the Scientific Committee for review. If you do not have access to the internet please contact the Conference Secretariat.
  • The Committee will endeavor to schedule abstracts according to authors’ preferences but reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.
  • Instructions on the preparation of posters and information regarding projection facilities will be included with the notification of acceptance.
  • Please follow the instructions on the website step-by-step. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
  • You will receive confirmation that your abstract has been forwarded for review, indicating the abstract number which it has been allocated.
  • Please refer to the abstract number in all correspondence regarding the abstract.

BRAIN 2009 is an environmentally friendly conference and therefore each participant will receive a CD ROM of abstract. Free of charge printing facilities will be available on-site to print specific abstracts.
