Depart Jerusalem via Tel Aviv and the coastal road to the landscape of the Lower Galilee and Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph.
Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias and drive along the Lake Kinnereth to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of the Fish and Loaves, located at the foot of the Golan Heights.
Our last stop is at the Yardenit, the famous baptismal site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee.

Full Day Trip to Massada and the Dead Sea

Depart Jerusalem traveling via the Judean hills to the Dead Sea area, the lowest place on earth. Ascend to the ruins of the mountain fortress of Massada by cable car and tour the remains of the fortress, built by King Herod, where the Zealots made their last stand against the Roman legions. Visit the remains of the once luxurious palace, the synagogue, water cisterns, and mosaic floors of the ancient Roman bathhouse. Descend by cable car.
Travel along the shore of the sea where you will have free time to swim and float in the Dead Sea, whose high mineral content and mud is thought to have curative effects.

Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Enter the Old City via the Jaffa Gate and walk through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters to the recently excavated and restored Roman Cardo. Stop off at the Western (Wailing) Wall, the holiest place of the Jewish People. Continue on to the Christian Quarter, walking along the Via Dolorosa, following the Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
In the afternoon proceed to the New City of Jerusalem. Drive, via the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. Tour of the museum.
