Conference Kit and Name Tag
Upon registration you will receive your conference kit containing the printed material of the conference, name tag and voucher(s) for lunch. Please wear your name tag to all sessions and social events.
Speakers Ready Room
The Speakers' Ready Room, situated on the Lower Level, is available for speakers every day during meeting hours. Speakers are requested to check their presentation at least half an hour prior to the start of their session.
Exhibition Opening Hours
All participants are invited to view the exhibition at both David Intercontinental and Dan Panorama hotels. Opening hours are as follows:

Posters (Stem Cell Meeting)
Your poster should be mounted by 09:00 hours on Monday, June 15 and removed by 17:30 hours, on Wednesday, June 17.
The Organizing Committee and Secretariat cannot be responsible for posters that have not been removed by this time.
Owners of posters should stand by their poster during the Poster Session
Each poster board includes an envelope in which you may place A4 reprints of your poster or relevant material.
Please refer to the Final Program for the poster board number assigned to you, and use the board with the same number.
Airport Information
Ben Gurion International Airport is the main international gateway to and from Israel. It is situated approximately 25km (16 miles) south-east of Tel Aviv.
Journey to Tel Aviv is approximately 30 minutes.
Transportation to Tel Aviv
By Train
The train station is located on Level S of the Landside Building, adjacent to the Greeters' Hall.
Passengers arriving at Ben Gurion International Airport need to go up to the Greeters Hall on Level G and from there to the Check-in Hall, via elevators, escalators or stairs. Train tickets can be purchased through automated ticket dispensers on Level G of the terminal.It is recommended to get off the train at Azriely station or Arlozorov station and to take a taxi to the hotel.

By Bus
Upon exit from customs, take either the elevator or escalator to the 2nd floor. Exit the terminal either by gate number 21 or 23. Cross over the road for Egged bus number 5 which serves as an internal transport line from Ben Gurion International Airport to El Al Junction. The price today is NIS 5 (USD 1.20).
You need to take line 475.
Buses arrive at Tel-Aviv Central Bus Station.
From here it is another 15 minutes by car/taxi to the Intercontinental Hotel.
Note: Buses do not run on Saturday (Shabbat) - from half hour before sunset on Friday till one hour after sunset on Saturday.
By Private Taxi
The Taxi Stations and dispatcher's counter at Terminal 3 are located on Level G of the Multi Level Road.
Cost is NIS 120 (USD 30).
It is recommended not to use random Taxi services.
Rate 2 (25% extra) will apply in the following cases:
Night journeys between 21:00 and 05:59 hours the next day.
An additional NIS 2.7 will be applicable for each piece of luggage.
ILSI's Poolside Cocktail
Will take place on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 18:30 hours at the David InterContinental Hotel.
Hotel Internet
The David InterContinental Hotel is equipped with wireless. Cost for this service, as at June 4, is USD 22 per day. (Consecutive time, starting from the minute you logon). You can also connect to the Internet from the hotel’s business center at a cost of USD 4 for 15 minutes, USD 6 for 30 minutes or USD 10 for an hour.
Rates for wireless at the Dan Panorama Hotel, as at June 4, are as follows:
One hour is NIS 70 (approximately USD18)
Full day is NIS 33 (approximately USD9).
Please note: Israelis who purchase wireless from the hotels will need to add VAT.
Lunch
Lunch will be served on the meeting level.
Climate and Clothing
Weather in Tel Aviv mid of June is approximately 28°C. Clothing is informal for all occasions. Sunglasses, sunscreen and walking shoes are highly recommended.
Insurance
The secretariat and organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property or persons, during or indirectly arising from the ILSI-Biomed 2009. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
