Abstract Submission
If I submit an abstract do I have to attend the Conference?
All abstracts that have been accepted for Poster presentations require that at least one author attends the congress to present the work and answer questions. Only abstracts of registered participants will be scheduled in the Scientific Program.

How do I register for the Conference?
In order to register for the Conference, please complete the online registration & accommodation form or pdf version – both options are available via the registration page on the conference website.
How can I pay the registration fees?
Payment of registration fees can be made by credit card or by bank transfer. For full details, please click here.
Can I receive an invoice under the sponsoring Company / Hospital’s name?
Yes. If you require an invoice to be issued to the sponsoring company, please send an email to the registration department at reg_ald@easl.eu specifying the services requested and full address and company VAT number of the sponsoring company.
Can I register for the Conference without paying?
Yes, but your registration will only be confirmed when full payment is received.
Can I register before the early rate deadline and pay later?
No. In order to benefit from the early reduced registration rate, payment must be received before the published deadline.
Will I receive a confirmation letter after I have finished registering?
Yes. A detailed confirmation letter and receipt will be sent to you by email as soon as payment is received and registration is completed.
Can I register onsite?
Yes. Although you can register onsite at the conference, you will be charged the published onsite registration fee.

HOTEL Accommodation
How can I find out information about hotels and their rates?
Kenes International is offering EASL Monothematic Conference participants specially reduced rates for hotels in Athens.
Information, pictures, location and rates are available on the hotel accommodation page.
How can I book my room and should I pay in advance?
In order to reserve a room, please, book online via the hotel accommodation page or complete the registration & accommodation form (PDF version) available on the website.
A deposit payment of 1 night is required in order to confirm the booking, and the balance is payable until 3 weeks prior to arrival. Please note that full pre-payment is required before arrival for every booking.
Will I receive a confirmation letter after I have finished booking?
Yes. A detailed confirmation letter and receipt will be sent to you by email as soon as the required deposit is received.
Can I book a hotel room without registering for the Conference?
Yes. You can book your room by completing the registration & accommodation form (skip the registration section) or online via the hotel accommodation page by clicking on the "Booking" button of your chosen hotel. If you need further assistance, please email the accommodation department at reg_ald@easl.eu remembering to include details of your requested hotel, rates and payment method.
How can I book hotel rooms for a group?

Invitation Letters & Visa Applications
How do I apply for a visa?
Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We recommend that you contact your local Greece Consulate or Embassy for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that apply to you.
Is it possible to send an official invitation letter directly to my local Greece Consulate / Embassy?
Unfortunately we are unable to send invitation letters directly to the foreign consulates or embassies. Invitation letters are prepared solely for individuals and are e-mailed as PDF attachment documents directly to them and if requested, also sent to them by regular mail.
