All Green to Go for opening tonight
Over the last few rocky day’s we have been successful in moving the entire conference and exhibition to Pattaya. Tonight at 18:00 the Opening Ceremony will kick off the 2 day ASPIRE conference. We have been welcoming delegates since Wednesday morning and the transport and coordination to the new hotels is all going smooth.
We encourage delegates who are travelling today to please contact the ASPIRE teams at the Airport or call 02-748-7881 (0 for operator) to schedule your pick up from your Bangkok hotel. Delegates have been greatly enjoying the new hotels here in Pattaya and a special poolside dinner is now added to the schedule for Saturday night.
The organizing committee of ASPIRE 2010 and Kenes Asia have been closely monitoring the ongoing “red shirts” rallies in Bangkok. Since the current peaceful demonstrations continue to disrupt the already challenging city traffic and cause other inconveniences in the City, we have decided to move the Conference while maintaining the original dates and program framework. The conference will be moved to the resort city of Pattaya, located just 1hr drive from the airport away from Bangkok in order to ensure smooth and successful running of this important event. The new venue, the PEACH Convention Center is located on a private resort compound surrounded by luxury hotels and the famous Pattaya beach and close the City’s night life.
The Conference dates April 9 -11 will be unchanged.
In order to ensure your convenience, we have provided free transport arrangements directly from the Bangkok International Airport to Pattaya City by a regular shuttle service. A welcome Team will be standing by at the ASPIRE 2010 INFORMATION COUNTER located behind Baggage Belt #18 and at the ARRIVAL area to guide you to the shuttles starting Wednesday 08:00 am. For hotel accommodations, we have arranged some very nice alternatives with many benefits to compensate the inconveniences. Please note that for all rooms booked at the official conference hotels there will be a similar or better room with no additional charge.

- The Amari Watergate will be transferred to the Amari Orchid Hotel (Reservation Dept. Tel.:+66 38-418418)
- H by Holiday Inn and InterContinential will be transferred to the Holiday Inn Pattaya (Reservation Dept. Tel.:+66 38-725555)
- Arnoma Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott will be transferred to Marriott Pattaya (Reservation Dept. Tel.:+66 38-412-120)
For those staying at other (non official) hotels, please contact us for alternative arrangements. Participants who are already in Thailand can contact us for transfer arrangements to Pattaya.
Local delegates are requested to also book accommodation in Pattaya in any of our official hotels.
Faced with this challenging situation, the Organizing Committee and Kenes Asia are making every effort to ensure an alternative location offering the same, if not better conveniences to all participants and request your understanding for any inconvenience caused. ASPIRE 2010 has already received a record attendance this year and we look forward to a great event in Pattaya!
