VENUE
The Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology 2013 Congress (APSC 2013) is proud to be meeting at the Pattaya Exhibition & Convention Hall (PEACH).

TRANSPORTATION FROM SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT TO PATTAYA
By bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport
There are some coaches that leave direct from the airport. For more information, you may click the links provided below.
- 389 Airport Pattaya Bus Company, please click here. Location at Airport Bus Terminal, 1st Fl. of Airport Building Gate 7-8.
- Bell Service, please click here. You need to go to Bell Travel's website to book your travel from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya. They don't accept walk-in requests.
- Government-run buses depart from the airport at Level 2.
By taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport
The official meter-taxi price to Pattaya is 1050 baht plus the 60 baht highway ("motorway" or "expressway") toll (this isn't necessary outside peak times, when travelling down below is just as fast). Allow around 80-90 minutes in favourable conditions.
By limousine from Suvarnabhumi Airport
Many hotels, for a fee, can arrange to have you met at the airport gate by a personal driver with a limousine, thus avoiding the need to negotiate with taxi drivers, or you can book a limousine in advance online.
A number of companies that offer limousine service from the airport to Pattaya also have counters at the airport.

There is a number of car rental companies that have counters at the 2nd Level of the airport.

VISAS
Generally, a foreign citizen who wishes to enter the Kingdom of Thailand is required to obtain a visa from a Royal Thai Embassy or a Consulate. However, nationals of certain countries do not require a visa if they meet visa exemption requirements. INTERNET CAFÉ
An Internet Cafe will be available for participants' use in the Exhibition Area during exhibition hours. Wifi cards are also available for sale from the hotel's business center.
CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
You may collect your Certificate of Attendance at the Registration Counter on 23 February 2013 from 13:30 hrs.
CLIMATE
The weather in Pattaya during the month of February is perfect weather combo: very little rain and hot but not too hot temperatures at average highs of 31C, lows of around 21 – 22C.
ELECTRICITY
Electrical outlets are 220 volts, 50 cycles and accept flat-pronged plugs. Adapters are available upon request in most hotels.
CURRENCY
The Thai baht is divided into 100 satangs. Paper denominations consist of 1,000- (gray), 500- (purple), 100- (red), 50- (blue), and 20-(green) baht notes. Coins consist of ten-, five-, one-baht disks, as well as 50- and 25-satang brass disks. Foreign currency changers are available at the airport and provide the same rates as in town and better rates than hotels.
ATMs & CREDIT CARDS
ATMs are available in many public areas. All major establishments accept American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa cards. Expect a 3 to 5 percent surcharge.
INTERNET ACCESS
Most hotels now have Internet access either directly from the room if you plug in your laptop, or from their business centre. Charges vary from around 100 Baht for the first 15 minutes with lower charges afterwards. Additional surcharges times apply, so check first. There are also Internet cafes in most shopping areas.
