Since its establishment in 1932 as the “Exhibition of the East,” the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center has hosted more than one million visitors a year. Hundred of exhibitions, events and professional symposiums have been held at the Center, in fields including technology, hi-tech, tourism, agriculture, business, trade, building, science, industry, health, the arts and others.
The Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center, long recognized as one of the most famous exhibition centers in the world, was established in the city of Tel Aviv, considered to be the " business and cultural capital" of the State of Israel. Tel Aviv, with its beautiful beaches, serves as the gateway to the Middle East, and more than one million visitors come there every day for business or pleasure. The unlimited possibilities that can be achieved in Tel Aviv put the city in a unique class, alongside the world's major metropolises such as New York, London, Paris, and Munich. It is no accident that the city of Tel Aviv is known as "the city that never stops," since it lives and breathes for 24 hours a day. The location of the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center and its accessibility to the major road traffic arteries and railway links give the exhibition center clear advantages over its competitors.
The uniqueness of the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center is expressed not just in terms of its location in the very heart of Israel, but also in the modern architectural planning that has been invested in its construction. The center spans an area of more than 300 dunams, of which 25,000 square meters is exhibition space. There are more than 5,000 parking slots for visitors. Approximately 15,000 square meters of the center's exhibition space are under cover and are divided into 10 air-conditioned halls of different sizes. The Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center boasts an additional 40,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space on lush green-grass areas. This combination of modern buildings with open exhibition areas gives the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center a different and special appearance in the exhibitions and events industry and provides the place with a pastoral and unique atmosphere.
