Deadline for submission of abstracts:
Wednesday, October 15, 2008
Participants who would like to present an oral or poster presentation must submit an abstract for consideration by the Scientific Committee. The abstracts should be submitted in English no later than Wednesday, October 15, 2008. The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for presentation, with consideration to be given to the author’s preference of poster or oral presentation.
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat. Only the abstracts of registered participating authors will be included in the program and in the conference electronic abstract book.
Submission of Abstracts
Only abstracts submitted via this website will be sent to the Scientific Committee for review. If you do not have access to the internet please contact the Conference Secretariat. The Committee will endeavor to schedule abstracts according to authors’ preferences but reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.
Instructions on the preparation of posters and information regarding projection facilities will be included with the notification of acceptance.
Please follow the instructions step-by-step. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
You will receive confirmation that your abstract has been forwarded for review, indicating the abstract number which it has been allocated. Please refer to the abstract number in all correspondence regarding the abstract.
Please contact the Secretariat if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been forwarded for review by the Program Committee by October 20, 2008.
Please kindly note that all accepted abstracts will be available prior to the meeting on the website.
AD/PD 2009 is an environmentally friendly conference and therefore each participant will receive an electronic version of the abstract book in their participant bags. Printing facilities will be available on-site to print abstracts of interest free of charge. Abstracts may also be accessed through the conference website from February 2009.
The conference abstracts will also be published online as a supplement to the Neurodegenerative Diseases Journal (NDD) published by S. Karger AG.
