Language

The official language of the 1st International Congress on Abdominal Obesity is English. All abstract submissions and presentations should be in English.

Visas

International participants may require Visas in order to enter China.
Participants are requested to check with the Chinese consulate or diplomatic mission in their home country or with their travel agency for Visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a Visa if required.

Letter of Invitation

Upon request, the Secretariat of the 1st International Congress on Abdominal Obesity will send a personal invitation to participants.
This invitation is meant only to help visitors to raise travel funds or to obtain a Visa, and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support. 

Liability

The 1st International Congress on Abdominal Obesity secretariat and organizers cannot assume liability for personal accidents, loss of or damage to private property of participants, students and accompanying persons, either during, or directly arising from the 1st International Congress on Abdominal Obesity. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.  

From Hong Kong Airport to the Venue

Please use the Airport Express train (AEL), exit the train at the Hong Kong Island station, and then take the free shuttle bus to the venue (HKCEC), bus number Route H1 which runs every 20 min. from 06:12 to 23:12 (the shuttle stops at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, and the Grand Hyatt is right next to the venue, for the Novotel Hotel please take shuttle bus number Route H2).
The AirPort Express train runs every 12 minutes from 05:50 to 01:15 daily. Journeys between the Airport and downtown Hong Kong take approximately 24 minutes.

Average temperatures during January range from 14-18 °C. During the night temperatures can drop.
