The congress is offering 10 bursaries consisting of free registration to the congress and four nights hotel accommodation to abstract submitters from developing countries under the age of 35 (before June 12, 2011). These bursaries do not include the flight to and from Glasgow, however, the congress preferred carrier, British Airways is offering Congress participants up to a 20% discount on published fares.
Bursary recipients will be selected on the basis of abstract evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
When submitting an abstract online, bursary applicants must mark this in the space indicated in addition to sending a formal application which should be done via the special link which will be posted on the congress website shortly. Applications must be accompanied by your abstract confirmation number and an official document (ID, passport) showing your date of birth.
Applicants who have been granted a bursary will be informed prior to the early registration deadline via an official letter indicating that they have been granted free registration and four nights hotel accommodation – in order to facilitate and help overcome administrative difficulties when applying for a visa to enter the UK.
Applications can no longer be accepted.
