7th World Congress of the World Federation of Skull Base Societies
The constitution of the WFSBS dictates that its World Congress should be held every four years. The President of the Congress should rotate between the two major specialties, Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery. The venue of the meeting should also rotate between the three major continental blocs.
Consequently we are looking for bids to hold the next Congress in 2016 from Societies based in the Asia / Oceanic region.
The decision as to which Society is given the responsibility of organising this meeting will be made by the General Assembly at its meeting in Brighton UK based on the ranked recommendations of the Executive Board.
Consequently those Societies wishing to host the meeting should submit their proposals to the President Elect, Professor Mike Gleeson before the meeting this May.
If there are several applications they will be invited to give a short presentation to the General Assembly.
