Half a day Tour

Pick up on 9am outside the David Intercontinental hotel on Tuesday, March 16.

Our tour will start in Old JAFFA,

Old Jaffa has always been the entry point to the ancient land of Israel and has since become one of Israel’s more atmospheric tourist attractions.  We will have the opportunity to roam through the Jaffa’s winding cobblestone alleyways filled with charming artists’ studios, Judaica shops, archaeological sites that lead into romantic gardens and the ancient port of Old Jaffa.  We will stop the Gan Hapisga look-out point and will end the tour with a walk through the Flea Market characterized by its traditional aromas, fragrances and eclectic merchandise.

From JAFFA, will drive to Neve Tzedek neighborhood,

Neve Tzedek contains some of the city’s hottest property and has become fashionable among the bohemian yuppie community, while still preserving and exemplifying many of the neighborhoods turn of the century houses.  We will view some of these reconstructed buildings such as Beit Rokach (the home of Shimon Rokach who was one of the original pioneers of Tel Aviv) and Beit Shlush (home of Aharon Shlush, founder of Tel Aviv) which now houses art exhibitions.

Tour ends on 1pm outside the Intercontinental Hotel.
