The British Menopause Society is delighted to have the opportunity to invite you all to London for the 2009 EMAS menopause conference which will be held between 16th and 20th May at the ExCel Centre in London’s docklands. The ExCel Centre is a state of the art conference centre on the Thames opposite the ancient maritime area of Greenwich and provides a fascinating venue with easy access to the centre of London. The centre is fully self-contained with dozens of restaurants, bars, cafes and hotel rooms of all levels. Prices are comparable to other major European cities.
The scientific programme will be stimulating with focus on new developments and current opinion from foremost opinion leaders in Europe. We plan to reflect the multi-disciplinary nature of our speciality incorporating special sessions for trainees, nurses and primary care physicians. We will also be looking to collaborate with other European menopause societies and any expressions of interest at this stage are welcome.
Late spring is an ideal time to visit London with all its parks and many cultural attractions. We will provide you with a stimulating and varied social programme to complement the science and look forward to seeing you in London in May 2009.
