Social Event at Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens |
|
Once a home to many residents, such as the Grand Dukes of Tuscany and Napoleon, this 1458 Italian Palace has now opened its doors to become one of the largest art galleries in Florence. Today, it remains a public museum, in its unique location, it preserves years of historical ambiance, myths and reality.
The Congress' social event will consist of a free guided tour around this exceptional museum and the Boboli Gardens, which are located directly behind the palace. The Boboli Gardens have come to form an outdoor museum of garden sculpture that includes Roman antiquities as well as 16th and 17th century works.
After your guided tour around the museums, there will be live entertainment in the central courtyard and gardens for all to enjoy. |
|
Tickets can be bought for an additional cost of €10 for registered participants and €35 for accompanying persons. A limited number of tickets are available for this event and are allocated on a “first come, first served” basis.
