Information for e-Poster Presenters

E-POSTER DISPLAY GUIDELINE

The Scientific Program Committee of the 9th International Congress on Autoimmunity is delighted that your abstract will be displayed as an E-Poster. This guideline contains all the information you need to prepare an E-Poster display so please read all information carefully.

What is E-Poster Display?

E-Posters increase poster visibility after the event, providing another highly effective platform for promoting continuous education and extending the meeting lifecycle with options to share, comment and even raise questions to the author.

E-Posters have been developed based on experience and feedback of E-Poster submitters and viewers; we have done all possible efforts in order to set a cut edge platform to have a suitable E-Poster viewer that will grant an optimal experience to the user.

  • Electronic Posters or E-Posters are similar to traditional paper posters, but displayed on-site on a large LCD screen.
  • There will be 2 E-Poster display stations to display 60 selected abstracts accepted as E-posters.
  • E-Posters can be viewed also via the browser at the congress web site during and after the congress based on authors approval
  • Anyone will be able to use the touchscreen on the LCD television screen to search and view an abstract of their choice.

Why E-Posters Display?

  • E-Posters are modern, attractive and innovative way to display traditional paper posters.
  • E-Posters save space and cost of printing paper.
  • Easy to find abstracts that interest you. Finding a poster in a large hall can be difficult, but with E-Posters display, anyone can easily search for a poster by title, author, and track and issue code on the LCD television screen.
  • Accessible via the congress website during and after the congress for continuous education and networking via Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome browsers.

What is an E-poster session?

  • An E-Posters session is a live session, with a chairperson, where the speakers present their abstracts orally, while their E-Posters are displayed on the large LCD screens. Each presenter has 5 minutes to speak.
  • As an E-Poster presenter you only need to be by your E-Poster display station during the time of the session. A technician will be on site to help. We recommend that you check your e-poster with the technician at least 30 minutes before your session.
