Kenes International has appointed Panoramic Travel as tours company. They will offer a selection of tours in Ljubljana area.
Tours will be operated on May 4- May 9, based on a minimum of 20 participants per tour.
All tours include the entrance fees where mentioned, 50 seater deluxe bus and English speaking official guide
The tours will depart and return from/ to the GR Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.

LJUBLJANA CITY TOUR – HALF DAY
The tour includes: outside sightseeing of university, Preseren square, Triple bridge, Market designed by architect Joze Plecnik, baroque town hall, cathedral of St. Nicholas, Dragon bridge.
Continue sightseeing of Ljubljana with the funicular to medieval Ljubljana castle and visit of The Virtual museum and Observation tower at Ljubljana castle. Ljubljana Castle is the most spectacular sight of Ljubljana. There is proven evidence that the hill on top of which it is situated was inhabited back in the 12th century BC.Preserved from this early period of settlement are the remains of the Urn Tomb culture.
Lunch at local restaurant. Try In the palette of national dishes. Slovenia has a wealth of dishes and drinks that have appeared during centuries at the meeting point of the Alps, the Mediterranean and the Panonian cultures. Among the native Slovenian dishes you can try out the “potica”, "zganci", or "pogaca".

BLED CITY TOUR – HALF DAY
Bled's major attractions are a lake of glacial origin with an island in the middle and a castle which history
dates back to the 1th century. At Mlino port we will board traditional pletna boat and ride to the Bled Island and back.
On the island you can visit church of St. Mary and ring its bell for good luck. Continue to visit Bled castle and enjoy beautiful panoramic view of Bled lake, you can visit the castle museum, herbal shop, printing shop etc.
Lunch at local restaurant. Try one of the typical dishes in Gorenjska-the lakes and mountains region: "zganci"- these groats made of buckwheat, barley or corn. You can also try different soups, struklji, krem snita.

POSTOJNA CAVE TOUR – HALF DAY
Drive to Postojna. Take the train through the underground world of the largest cave in the Classic Karst and the most visited tourist cave in Europe to see magnificent caverns and glistening stalactites. View the largest collection of cave animals in one place.
After sightseeing of the caves continue to Predjama castle. Discover how the castle, built in the 13th century and renovated in the Renaissance period.

SLOVENIAN COAST – FULL DAY
Drive to Slovenian coast. Secovlje saltpans used to be the largest saltpans in this area. They are now abandoned
and are a nature preserve for waterfowl. Light wind and scent of the Mediterranean fascinate the visitors in every season of the year.
In the Museum of saltpans precious information is available about the history and salt production in this area. Continue the sightseeing with visit of Tona's house. The farmhouse at St. Peter - known as Tona's House - is a unique ethnological monument.
Lunch and wine tasting at tourist farm and wine cellar Mahnic (tasting of five types of wines). After lunch drive to Portoroz, the liveliest part of Slovene coast. Continue to Piran and stroll through the streets of this probably most beautiful of Slovenia's coastal towns. After the sightseeing we suggest to spend free time for a walk or for a coffee break.

SPA BREAK – FULL DAY
Drive to Smarjeske Toplice. In Smarjeske Toplice lies the most modern Slovene health resort where your body and
soul will be taken care of. For relaxation and recreation the guests may use five pools that are filled with thermal water. Two pools are indoors (32 °C). Three additional pools are outdoors and are part of a wonderful health resort natural park. Sport and childrens' pools both are 26-28 C° and the beloved wooden pool which lies above the actual thermal water spring is 32 C°. Vitarium Spa & Clinique centre.
Continue to tourist farm for a late lunch: Selected home-made food characteristic of Dolenjska and the wider area, including struklji, duck, bread rolls, strudel and blood sausages.
