Registration for the Professional Tours is now closed.
If space becomes available, on-site registration will be possible in Hall 1.
As part of the 2012 International CIPA Conference and the Agritech Israel Exhibition, 2 professional tour options will be organized on May 17, 2012. Participation in the tours will be available for a registration fee of $70 and will be based on a first-come, first-served policy.
Tour Option #1: Plasticulture - FULL
This tour will include:
· Visit to a production facility of various types of films
· Visit to an Agricultural R&D center
· Visit to various farms of vegetables, flowers, fruit and leafy crops under protected and soil-less cultivations
Tour Option #2: Dairy Farming in Israel - FULL
This tour will include:
Visit to Hof Hasharon Dairy Farm, one of Israel's most advanced dairy farms
Visit to Ambar Feed Mills, Israel's largest feed-mill enterprise
Visit to Kfar Yehezkel Feeding Center, which produces Total Mixed Ration (TMR) for all types of ruminant livestock
Learn about biogas production from dairy cattle manure
Both tours will depart from the Tel Aviv Fairground at 08:00 on May 17th and will be guided by experts from the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development.
Lunch will be served en route.
